As any designee will tell you, the islands are not just a place where we sell real estate, it’s a place we live, work, play, and volunteer. We are committed to preserving and promoting the rights of property owners and wildlife.

So Why choose a REALTOR® with an SCIS Designation for your next real estate transaction? It goes without saying that choosing the right REALTOR® is key to any successful sale or purchase of property. But there are times when that just isn’t enough. Island properties offer a unique lifestyle and with that uniqueness comes limitations and responsibilities.

The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS® Members who have obtained the SCIS Designation are professionals committed to providing their clients the highest quality of service. This commitment provides a level of comfort to buyers new to the islands who may not know the right questions to ask. For sellers on Sanibel and Captiva, SCIS designees are able to effectively market the uniqueness of island living and anticipate and discuss any property restrictions with sellers and buyers and guide them over any bumps-in-the-road during the negotiation process.
