REALTOR® Code of Ethics Training
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than two hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within three-year cycles. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. The current cycle, Cycle 6, began on January 1, 2019 and will end on December 31, 2021. Only courses and equivalencies provided by a local, state, or national REALTOR® association can satisfy the Code of Ethics training requirement. Training may be completed through local REALTOR® association live classroom courses or online courses, but your certificate of completion must be sent to [email protected]
Completing the COE Requirement
You can satisfy the requirement for Cycle 6 by completing one of the following activities between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021: A NAR Code of Ethics training class. A live or virtual Code of Ethics class. The NAR Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) certification program. The Professional Standards annual training course.
