Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS respects your privacy, and we are constantly evaluating our practices and procedures to protect your personal information.
Information collection and use
SanibelRealtors.com and SanibelCaptivaRealtors.org is accessible to everyone, but only Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS members may access certain tools and information. To view that info, members must log in if they wish to visit a password-protected page. We compare your login info to our membership records and the personal profiles.
We won’t sell, share or rent this information to others, except in the ways outlined below. Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS collects information from our users at several different points on our website in order to verify valid users and is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.
Registration
You must be a member of Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS to access certain areas of this website.
Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When you submit sensitive information through the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When a registration/order form asks you for information such as a credit card number, the information is encrypted before it leaves your device.

We could tell another company, for example, that 85 percent of SanibelRealtors.com and SanibelCaptivaRealtors.org visitors took our property insurance survey and here are the results, but we can’t say that you, in particular, clicked on the property insurance survey. Third parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Surveys

Site and service updates
Some types of email correspondence don’t have opt-out capabilities if you’re a Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS member, such as the occasional notice of a major breaking news event to Florida licensees, emails sent to committee members, and other website and service announcements.
Correction/updating personal information
Email addresses, phone numbers and other personal information may be changed or updated by members using the edit option on their page.
SMS/Text Messaging Policy
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS® offers an optional SMS text messaging program for association updates, announcements, event information, reminders, and other relevant communications.
Users may opt in to receive text messages by completing an authorized consent form or by texting START to (239) 579-7030. By opting in, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided and consent to receive recurring automated or manually generated text messages from the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS®.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership or the purchase of any goods or services.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming that your request has been processed. For assistance, reply HELP or contact the Association through the information provided at sanibelrealtors.com.
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information may be provided only to service providers that assist us in delivering text messages and operating the messaging program. Those providers may use the information only to perform services on our behalf.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to the availability and operation of participating wireless networks.

Changes in this policy
In the future, Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS may need to change this privacy policy to meet the needs of its members; and since we can’t predict the future, we must put this clause into the privacy policy: We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. Such changes may be made without prior notice but will be explained in this privacy policy. Changes will be effective when posted.
