Questions about REALTOR® Membership
How can I become a Realtor® member of SCIAR?
First, your broker must sign up or already be a member of the association. Second, you will need to contact the association at 239-472-9353 for the proper application and provide a copy of your license, a letter of good standing (if already a member of another association), and the DBPR change form or paperwork showing in which office your license is hung.
What is the difference between a Primary and Secondary Realtor® Membership?
A Primary Realtor® Member is a Realtor® member that pays their State and National dues through our Association, along with paying Local Dues.
A Secondary Realtor® Member holds Primary Membership in another local Association (meaning they simply pay their State and National Dues through their Primary Board), but also is a Local Dues Paying Member of our Association.
How long does the sign up process take?
Most new members can be signed up and processed within 24 hours.

Questions about Affiliate Membership
How can I become an Affiliate Business Partner?
All businesses operating or doing work on Sanibel & Captiva wishing to become an Affiliate member can apply for membership. The Application for Affiliate Membership can be found HERE. Affiliates can attend our meetings and network with Realtor members and other Affiliates. Affiliates can sponsor meetings, sit on certain committees, and attend Association events.
To be eligible to be an Affiliate member you can not hold an Active Florida Real Estate license.

How can I get SanCap MLS service?
First, your broker must be a subscriber/participant of the SanCap MLS for you to be eligible for service.
How can I obtain a RETS/API feed from the SanCap MLS service?
First, you must be a subscriber/participant of the SanCap MLS for you to be eligible for a feed. Second, you must fill out and return the following Data Access agreement CLICK HERE with payment to receive approval.
